ANNUAL
PERFORMANCE REPORT
(2004-05)
SISI, Karnal alongwith Branch SISI, Bhiwani provides Industrial
Extension Services to the small Scale industries/entrepreneurs in
the state of Haryana, excluding the district of Faridabad which
is being served by SISI, Okhla, New Delhi.
SISI,
Karnal provides guidance to prospective entrepreneurs in identifying
product/ project / activity, selection of machinery, identifying
Sources of Raw Materials and other inputs, studying Technical Feasibility
& Economic Viability etc. The institute serves existing SSIs
by assisting in Modernization, Technology Up-Gradation, Implementing
Quality Systems & Product Quality Certification and providing
Techno-managerial & other assistance’s by way of field
visits, correspondence and by organising Seminars, Workshops, Training
Programmes etc.
It may be mentioned here that during the year 2004-05 SISI, Karnal
has organised the training programmes in all the districts in the
State of Haryana. A comprehensive Report of activities conducted
during the year 2004-05 in this direction is given in the following
pages.
